Ok this is absolutely silly, but….
I met Nathalie just a couple of months ago and somehow
we started talking about what we games we use to
play as kids. Nathalie grew up on a blueberry farm
as the oldest of twelve children. When they were
young they used to stick Blueberries up their nose
and blast them as far as they could.
So I thought we could have a little competition.
But I had so many questions. Is Dristan a banned
substance at the competitive level? How do you practice?
Do you stuff heavier things up your nose for training?
Does snot slow it down or make it slide?
When it came down to the actual event the rest of
the competitive field didn’t have a chance.
Nathalie was a bit of a ringer. She shot a single
blueberry 3.12 meters. None of the other competitors
even came close. It’s true – everybody
does have at least one special talent.
It just goes to show you that the spirit of play
is alive and well even at the Blueberry Farm.
