Or if at times you're feeling too numb.
There's a solution to rid yourself of that frown,

It's a book you can't put down!"
Michele Dietrich - Kindergarten

"I just want to thank you for writing
such a great, uplifting book, Gramma Knows the
F Word, and it's so funny too. This has been
an emotional roller coaster of a year for me,
and your book is helping to lift me out of my
on-and-off depression. I love every chapter,
especially the one on The Right Moment, and
Attitude of Gratitude. I found your book such
an upper, so optimistic and non navel gazing."
Morag Haysom - Retired Teacher,

"I can't tell you how much I enjoyed
Gramma Knows the F Word. Incredibly funny! It
made me take another look at some of the ways
I approached life. Thanks so much!"
Chris Comas - Firefighter –

"Gramma Knows the F Word is a must
for moms, dads, students, teachers, and corporate
leaders. This book is about the real things
that are important in life – at home,
at work, at play, in moments of disappointment
and also in moments of triumph. Ted Schredd
has the insight, wisdom (and guts) to write
about FUN in an inspiring and practical action-based
way. It reminds us that when we are able to
live and lead life to its fullest potential
we can also inspire others to do the same! We
are already looking forward to promoting and
using your skills and concepts in our team-building
workshops."

As a self-published author, most of my sales are
created by word of mouth. I invested my life savings,
my left leg and sold my baseball card collection
to get the book into print. If you liked the book,
please tell people about it.

Some Marketing Suggestions (no
pressure)
- Request Gramma Knows the F Word at three
different bookstores or
go to the library and say, “Hey man,
you got that F word book?”
- Give it as a birthday present, Christmas
present, or as a first-time nudist award.
You could use it as a fund-raiser for your
sports team or social group.
- At www.discoverfun.com you will find sample
chapters that you can
download and send to your friends to entice
them to Buy! Buy! Buy!
- You can download posters to put up around
your office, or email a
friend and announce that you know the F Word.
- When people spam you on the web ... spam
them back with info on
Gramma Knows the F Word (my personal favorite).
- Write to book reviewers and say, “How
come you haven’t reviewed this
book-I guess you were on vacation or something?”
- Do you have any friends or relatives that
run giant corporations that
need to purchase, say, 15,000 copies at once?
- Loaning the book to others is great, but
it doesn’t buy any toast or
sandwiches. Maybe you could pretend to loan
the book to your friend,
then when they are not looking steal it back
from them and make
them buy another copy. That way everyone is
a winner.
- Make a song and sing it to everyone around
you. Example: Acorns, acorns, Gramma Knows
the F Word, I had a shower, Eat toast, YA!
And if all these fail, your word-of-mouth marketing
is the most powerful tool I have - if you tell
two friends and then they tell two friends,
then four friends will know about it.
